Yes, an online Computer Science programme carries the same academic value and repuatation as the one delivered on-campus. The degree, diploma, and transcripts show no difference between the two formats.
The experience is different for both. The on-campus programme allows for more in-person networking and faculty interaction. The online programme is better for working professionals short on time.

Newton, Scaler, and Polaris are all new-age private tech schools with strong industry-focused curricula, but their degree recognition differs: Newton and Polaris offer UGC-recognized B.Tech degrees (through partner universities), while Scaler primarily provides certifications with parallel degree tie-ups. If your priority is a formally recognised degree for government jobs or higher studies, Newton or Polaris are safer; if your focus is cutting-edge curriculum and placements, Scaler has stronger industry immersion.

An Illinois Tech Mumbai MSc is unique because it is a direct U.S. degree earned in India. Most Indian universities offer local degrees, but this programme mirrors the exact curriculum used in Chicago. You receive the same rigorous training without the high cost of living abroad. The degree is awarded directly by the U.S. campus, giving you a globally recognised credential while you stay at home.

For Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Computer Engineering (International Program) cutoffs in 2019 were a bit lower than regular COE, but still competitive.
Rough idea (2019 trends):
Around 92–95 percentile (approx.) for General category
Could vary depending on round and seat availability
International programs usually had slightly relaxed cutoffs compared to core CSE/COE.
Exact numbers changed each round, but mid-90 percentile range was the safe zone 👍
