Both TU Delft and TU Eindhoven are great options for Computer Science. However, they have slightly different strengths.

TU Delft is better for:

  • Software Engineering, AI, or Data Science
  • Better global reputation (#45 in the world for PG Computer Science in 2026, according to THE)

TU Eindhoven is ideal for:

  • Embedded Systems, Security, and Automotive Technology
  • Internships and thesis projects with major tech and semiconductor manufacturers

Students can also explore alternative options for Computer Science in Netherlands.

Indian student life at TU Delft is based around demanding academics, and a independent student lifestyle. Students can expect quality studies and presence of a strong Indian community. However, housing shortages and high costs of living (INR 1.1 Lakhs-INR 1.5 Lakhs per month) are common.

Other key features of the Indian student life in Delft are listed below:

  • Part-time jobs (INR 1.6-2.2 K) are available but competitive
  • Bicyles are the primary mode of transport
  • English is widely spoken
  • Locals prefer their personal space, however, are willing to help if asked for
  • Cafes, Outdoor terraces, and House parties are key parts of the Delft nightlife
