Doctoral degree courses leading to the PhD domain with the duration of 1-2 years after the completion of PG degree.
In these courses, the students are taught about the engineering and science techniques and activities which are involved in food processing, fermentation, preservation, microbiology, analytical chemistry, home science and flavor & color index.

Hi Priyank, The duration of Bachelor's Degree programs in Canada is of 4 years. Even if you do Diploma from India, you must complete the 4-year Bachelor's degree programme. You may still check with some colleges if they can transfer you into a 2nd year class but this is very rare. They are very strict with their rules and you must comply.

To study abroad you must complete 10+2, some universities may accept Diploma after 12th. Apart from qualifications, you must pass entrance tests like IELTS or TOEFL, SAT, ACT etc. depending on where you want to study. In India, you need to take college or state-specific entrance tests like BITSAT, VITEEE or even IIT JEE. Alternatively majority of the Diploma holders apply for lateral entry into B.Tech courses. In this case, entrance tests can be avoided. You can go through numerous college websites and find out the eligibility.

I would suggest you to first focus on your current studies. There is no point in going for a part-time course at this stage. Part-time courses are beneficial to those who have a work experience.

Ideally, you can apply into a Bachelor's degree in a related field. You may also apply for advanced Diploma, etc. However, you must always email a college and check the college-specific entry requirements before applying.
