If you are getting admission in 1st year of engineering based on equivalence of Diploma with class 12th, then you can take admission in any branch of engineering. However, if you are seeking lateral entry in 2nd year of engineering, then there are some restrictions.

You are eligible to join Flying Training Institute or School only if you have done 10+2 with Physics and Maths subjects. If you are doing Diploma after 10th then you are not eligible for seeking admission in Flying Training School.

Degree programme is always better after diploma. It will enhance your employability. Also, degree holders will normally be getting better salary along with faster promotion.
Don't hesitate, go for it.

Hello Keshav,
There are two ways to get admission in engineering colleges. In first method, follow state govt's policy on lateral entry for admission in 2nd year. In another method, appear for CET of your state or JEE Mains for entry in 1st year of engineering in any branch.

The best can differ with the students profile. You have not mentioned your grades for any guidance. But check SPP colleges like Humber, Lambton, Fleming, Sheridan etc. Have you taken IELTS?
