* It is always advisable to opt for lateral B.Tech course after completing diploma in any engineering field to get direct entry into the second year. Degree course will add more career opportunities for you.
* To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
* Below is the list of lateral entry colleges :
-MERI College of Engineering and Technology
-Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad
-Janeta Subash Institute of Technology
-Guru T

You can try for PG Diploma in Civil Engineering. PG Diploma in Construction Management is another good option. Other than this, you can look for M.E/M.Tech course in Civil Engineering. Other specialisations like structural engineering, CAD/CAM, and transportation engineering can be selected for studies. Selection of the course can be done according to your choice.
