It is difficult but not impossible. FTII selects students from all over India for its various courses by the toughest entrance exam. The number of students trying to join there is near 5000. So FTII entrance exam is considered one of the toughest exams in India.

The right thing to do after doing a Diploma in Computer Engineering is doing Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering. Look for some good colleges which accept Lateral Entry and appear for exams and then you can pursue your Bachelors in CSE.
