Distance/Correspondence

For admission to any distance learning course at JMI, candidates need to download the application form from the official website of Jamia Millia Islamia. The duly downloaded and completed application form has to be submitted to the respective Programme Coordinator, CDOL, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi or selected Learner Support Centre. The application form has to be accompanied by an application fee in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Jamia Millia Islamia payable at New Delhi.” The application fee for all the distance learning programmes (except MBA & B.Ed) is INR 500, while for MBA and B.Ed programme, it is INR 700.

• If you are an outsider, meaning not from Tamil Nadu, then first try to learn the language very well. If other way around, then try to learn English well (no offence).
• Don't take exams for granted. Don't take grades for granted.
• As everyone else said, maintain a 75% attendance else you'll get a recourse.
• Join the gym in mutthaiya nagar. Trainer/owner is a champion in bodybuilding. Joining a gym will give your life a discipline and of course an amazing physique.
• Make some good loyal genuine friends rather than getting into groups or gangs.
• If you are going to stay in university hostel, don't indulge into arguments with the hostel staff (if the need comes). Instead get help of a senior student or the wardens who are senior professors of the university so they'll help.
• And lastly, concentrate on studies first but keep all fun happening. You know what I mean. Booz, love affairs, bunking, etc. but remember your studies should be your first priority.
• You'll have good learning in AU.

Undergraduate programmes at Annamalai University include B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. B.Ed, B.P.Ed, and B.F.Sc. degrees. Courses like M.A., M.Com, M.B.A., M.E., M.Sc., and others are available at Annamalai University. The University also provides students with several Diploma programmes. Knowing in advance about the PG programmes and costs at Annamalai University may be helpful if you decide to enrol in their PG programmes. To avoid missing the chance to apply, periodically check their official website. Any student interested in enrolling in B.A. courses has the option of specialising in a topic such as Tamil, Economics, Education, English, History, Human Rights, Political Science, Public Administration, or English. The length of the courses at this level given by Annamalai University is a maximum of three years.
