Dravidian University is not 100% placement-assured, but it provides satisfactory job placements through its placement cell and career counseling programs. Placement percentages differ with courses, and professional courses like MBA, MCA, and Computer Science have better opportunities. A few students are placed in IT industries, banks, schools, and government departments, and others go for higher studies.

Admissions are provided by Dravidian University on both merit and entrance examination basis, based on the course. For undergraduate (UG) courses, candidates can be directly admitted based on their marks in 10+2, particularly for courses having vacant seats. For postgraduate (PG) courses, admissions are mostly based on DUCET (Dravidian University Common Entrance Test) or other state/national-level entrance tests.
