It is totally up to you. If you want than you can get good rank in JEE and go into IITS or NITs and grab the placements. Rather than take admission in any state Government College and prepare for GATE and take PSUS.

If you give GATE with branch other than your B.Tech branch, then you are not eligible for PSU, but you can get admission into IITS and NITS for M.Tech.

Total number of qualified boys: 33349
Total number of qualified girls: 5356
Total number of qualified general (GE) candidates: 15566
Total number of qualified general (GEN-EWS) candidates: 3636
Total number of qualified OBC-NCL candidates: 7651
Total number of qualified SC candidates: 8758
Total number of qualified ST candidates: 3094
IITRoorkee has declared the Joint Entrance Exam JEE Advanced Result 2019. Kartikey Gupta of Maharashtra has bagged AIR-1 in the exam. A total number of 161319 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE Advanced 2019 out of whom 38705 c

You should repeat class 12th, because your percentage is not good. And then, you will score if above 75 then you will prepare for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

Yes, you will get NIT-Agartala because its cut-off for ST category is very high as its closing rank is very high.
