It is totally up to you. If you want than you can get good rank in JEE and go into IITS or NITs and grab the placements. Rather than take admission in any state Government College and prepare for GATE and take PSUS.

If you give GATE with branch other than your B.Tech branch, then you are not eligible for PSU, but you can get admission into IITS and NITS for M.Tech.

You should repeat class 12th, because your percentage is not good. And then, you will score if above 75 then you will prepare for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

Yes, you will get NIT-Agartala because its cut-off for ST category is very high as its closing rank is very high.
