Hi,
It is important to categorize your preparation by keeping in mind the most important exam you are targeting. Based on that, everyday solve mock test papers for that particular test from previous years. After finishing the test, make a thorough revision of mistakes. Ensure all the formula and repeated concepts that appear in tests are clear to you. Write and practice, so you will not forget.

Of course, yes. you can take up the entrance exams which are open for students from across the country. For example, COMEDK is an entrance exam that Karnataka state conducts to enroll students across India to join engineering colleges within the state. Do check it for the other states where you wish to apply for.

Well, depends on your interest really. Software and IT field is more widely present and hence might prove relatively easy to find jobs. Hardware sector, I would advise to shortlist the firms to work with, even if startups, take up internships and then follow it up with full time job.

Coaching provides you a structured plan for your competition. It is quite tough to be always motivated towards your goal. In my point of view, you should go with coaching.

Hello Sree Harsha,
It is very interesting to see your desire to get into deemed to be university for doing your graduation. I assume, it's engineering graduation. Many deemed to be universities accept students from top 20% bracket or who are placed in order of merit in their Engineering branches directly without going through entrance exams. This is fundamentally to attract students with good academic records. But you will have to find out from your intended institution the rules governing this. Best wishes to you.

The chances look very slim for General Category. Still, you may try your luck. The past records say it is difficult.
