First important point for the candidates is - There is no age limit to appear for the exam. JEE Main 2019 exam would be conducted twice in a year. Thus, candidates can appear twice in the same year. The number of attempts for admission in a particular academic session will be treated as one. NTA will consider the best score of the two attempts. The age eligibility allows a candidate to appear in JEE Main for three consecutive years. For more details, you may refer to the link below:

You are eligible to write the exam and you can give it a try. It's better to attempt JEE Mains as you will be eligible to get admissions in NIT's and upon clearing JEE Advanced you can get admissions in IIT's.

This is the entrance exam for many PG courses in Tamil Nadu that is conducted by Anna University on behalf of state government. If you want to take admission in any of the government or aided colleges in Tamil Nadu for PG course then you need to appear for this. Obviously fees will be less in these colleges.
