Among ECE and CSE, deciding which one is better depends on the person's interest. Both are equally good. If you love coding and stuff, then it'll be better to choose CSE, and if you love more of circuits and robotics, then choose ECE. Between ECE and CSE, there are higher chances of CSE getting higher pay packages. But don't get disheartened. As for campus placements, mainly IT companies visit and they pool both from ECE and CSE background depending only on your abilities. Again, both the streams will give you a lot of scope for higher studies!
In ECE, you have an additional advantage- ESE (Engineering Service Examination) covers only 4

Yes, there are good chances for you to get aerospace engineering at SASTRA University. You can apply through stream 1 as you have appeared for JEE exam. The marking will be ( JEE score multiplied by 0.25 + board exam marks multiplied by 0.75). The website for applying is:
