If you are getting '-3' in total, simply it will surely decrease your marks and hence the All India Rank too. To rectify these low marks you need to have very high marks in physics and chemistry. But let's wait for result and hope the best. Good Luck.

No, you won't get any NIT, but you can get any government college in your home state. Be aware at the time of counselling.

It depends on your category. For general candidates it is around 650, for OBC it is near 600 and for SC/ST candidates it is about 500. All the best.

Yes, it's quite possible for you to get these branches. Not sure about CSE but ECE is something you can get. You can go for NIT in your state for state quota.

To get into prestigious institutions, the calls will be made individually by the colleges for the admission. To get into state colleges, you just have to cross the cutoff of the particular college and have to submit the GATE scorecard.

Rank is calculated by taking into consideration the number of students appearing for exams. So I will suggest you to search for a formula over the internet and calculate your rank. It is easy. After that, you need to provide a list of colleges according to your marks while filling the admission form. So, it's better to put some good college names at the top even though they are having more cut-off. If some seats remain vacant then you can get that college.
