One exam is for Karnataka and the other one is for West Bengal. Which exam you want to give, should be decided by where you want to pursue your degree. Now, both are good and different. There can't be a comparison stating the better one.

The eligibility about age is 'should have completed 17 years on 31st December 2018. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.

For B.Sc and B.Com, they are 4th week of February 2018 and 15th April 2018. For BA and B.Tech, they are 3rd week of February 2018 and 29th April 2018.

Since there is no negative marking, you shouldn't worry about not answering those questions. But it is advisable not to waste time on the questions that you don't know during the commencement of your exam. Once you have solved all the questions you were sure about, then go on solving the other ones. And do try to mark all the answers since there are high odds of getting a correct answer even if you didn't know it. Good luck!
