You are advised to take exams conducted at the state level. You are not eligible to take admission in IIT.

Good evening,
It would be better to prepare for GATE while pursuing B.Tech.
It will be helpful for the current course as well as for clearing the concerned exam.
Thanks and all the best.

That will always depend on you and your preparations. If you study well then you can crack JEE Advanced exam.

Hello Maneesh,
No, you cannot. There are 3 attempts for JEE Mains and 2 for JEE Advanced.
So, if you appeared for the same in 2016, then you can appear for JEE Mains in 2017 and 2018 only and for Advanced, you can appear in 2017 only.
Consecutive means the next two years.
So, right now you are not eligible to appear for JEE Mains 2019.

Hello Akhilesh,
For JEE Mains, it is mandatory to have PCM in class 11th and 12th as the questions are from PCM only.
The optional subject depends on you. If you are interested in doing CSE or software engineering then opt for computer science while if you want to do biotechnology, genetic engineering, etc., then opt for biology.
Hope this helps you.

Hello Manideep,
Giving correct answers for the questions is more important than attempting many questions as JEE Mains exam has negative marking.
The ranks depend on the number of candidates. So I may tell you in terms of marks.
Since each question carries +4 marks, it is sufficient to answer at least 65 out of 90 questions correctly that is 260 marks.
To get the top NITs, it is necessary to score above 300.
All the best.
