Procedure to select college is through counselling.
You will have to participate in counseling.
And you can pursue CSE as it is the most demanded course these days.
Other than that you can also pursue civil engineering.
Your branch will totally depend on your score in JEE Mains.
Good luck.

The admission into B. S. Abdur Rahman University is based on the scores in BSAUEEE or JEE Mains.
This is the only admission procedure.
Other than that, I think there is no way to get admission as I doubt that there is no management quota.
You may contact the admin for more details regarding this.
I hope, this helps you.

Why are you afraid of JEE. First try with your potential how much you have, if you crack the exam then OK and if not, then don't need to worry as you can get a good college under 3 lakhs fee and we are here to give you suggestion about good colleges. Firstly, you should try for JEE as many other colleges take admission through JEE score so if your marks are good and if you are not qualified then you can get admission anywhere.
All the best.

Both are quite different things as if you crack JEE Mains, firstly, you have to study for 4 years in IIT or NIT and then you have to fight with these 15 lakh engineers who are produced by India every year to get a job.
And Next is SSC. This exam is for jobs not for college admission. The main difference is that this exam is at graduation level and after passing this you can get a job but here also competition is very stiff.
All the best.
