First of all it does not depend on how many hours you study but how much you study sincerely. Yes, there are some students who study recklessly throughout the day but this is only possible on holidays. if you r going in an institution which has more working hours,12 hours study might tire you.
12 hours studies can be achieved if you study for 2 hours continuously and then take 20 min break in between from morning till night. This sounds quite hectic.
If you want to achieve such goal the start studying 6-7 hours a day initially and once you have a habit of it then increase your time by half hour and in this way you can achi

First of all you need to understand the concepts of NCERT books on your fingertips once you are done through this or after finishing a lesson you want some extra information and dozens of MCQ's then you can refer the mentioned standard books:
Physics - Concepts of physics by H. C. Verma volume 1 and 2.
Chemistry - Pradeep or Dinesh publication volume 1 and 2 of each theory and objectives.
Maths - Volume 1 and 2 of R. D. Sharma.
