First of all, you should focus on NCERT books. For additional, you can go for HC Verma in physics, for chemistry, GRB publication's books are good and for practicing numerical, you can refer Arihant books but make sure that you should not have excess study material.

There is a subject wise cut off for JEE Advanced. For General candidates it is 10 marks in each subject. OBC NCL min marks are 9. If you score 10 then you meet eligiblity criteria.

Hello Ankush,
JEE Mains ranking is primarily for admission to IIT's and NIT's. These are govt colleges. Also CGFI's also are govt colleges and admit students based on JEE Mains.

Hello Jaineel,
Your query is confusing. Firstly, for JEE Mains please refer books recommended by CBSE for their 12th class. But in Maharashtra, you have to appear for MHTCET.

Hello Niraj,
Admissions in Maharashtra are based on MHTCET. Have you applied for it? Though there is miniscule seats under All India Quota, which will be allotted based on JEE Mains. Keep track on MHTCET website.

The eligibility criteria for DAIICT is 120+ marks in JEE Mains (if you belong to OBC category), and the AIR should be less than 35K.
All the best.

Hi Ibrahim,
The official cut-off marks for this year (2017) has not been released. So you may refer to the link below which gives the opening and closing ranks for the year 2016:
http://josaa.nic.in/Result2016/result/OpeningClosingRank.aspx
This year, the cut-offs have gone down so that there are many chances for a person with a mark above 100 to easily get an NIT.
The closing and opening ranks vary each year. It will not be a constant.
All the best.
