With a GATE score of 500+ it can be a bit difficult to get admission into IISc Bengaluru. However, it can also depend on various factors, such as availability of the seats, candidates appeared for the exam, difficulty level of the question paper. Yes, candidates can get admission in University College of Engineering, Kakinada M.Tech without GATE since the University also accepts Andhra Pradesh PGECET exams. Candidates must apply for the exam on their official website and appear for the exam.

Yes, the WBJEE marking scheme differs for the different categories of question in the WBJEE paper. The category-wise marking scheme has been released through the official WBJEE exam pattern. While there is negative marking in the Category I and II questions, there is no negative marking for the Category III questions. The candidates are advised to check the WBJEE marking scheme carefully.
