It depends on the course in which the student is interested. MANIT Bhopal offers various courses in the different fields such as Engineering, Management, Humanities, etc. To be eligible for any course, the candidate must have at least 50% in their previous qualification. Eligible candidates must appear for the required entrance exams, such as JEE Main for BTech or GATE for MTech and score valid marks to secure admission to the course.

You may not receive the CBSE improvement examination result in time for JoSAA counselling, since improvement examinations by CBSE usually get their result after two-three weeks from conducting the improvement exam and counseling rounds for JoSAA starts at the earliest two-three weeks of announcement of results for JEE Main.

A biology student can technically apply for a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology (IT) at L D College of Engineering but should meet the eligibility criteria specified by the institute. Generally, PCM background is needed for courses in engineering. Since you are a biology student, you won't be meeting the requirement unless you've taken additional courses or bridge programs. Admission is generally based on GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) or JEE scores, but some institutes may also consider other criteria. It's advisable to check L D College's specific admission guidelines for biology students.

A percentile of 68 in JEE Mains 2024 is really a bad chance for getting into any NIT or IIT because the cutoff ranks for the best colleges are always far lower than 68. Nevertheless, you will have a decent chance for getting admission to some of the lowest-ranked NITs or one of the new IITs, based on branch preference and competition. One would be advised to look for some other engineering college with less admission criteria or again appear for the JEE Mains in the next session in case of improved rank. Opening and closing ranks keep an eye in counseling.

With a score of 160.5 in TNEA, you have a good chance of securing admission to reputable colleges for B.Tech in Information Technology (IT). The exact college will depend on the cutoff trends for IT in the year of admission, which vary based on factors like the number of applicants and their scores.

Some colleges that might fall within this range include government-aided institutions and reputed private engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Typically, colleges like PSG Tech, Anna University-affiliated colleges, and SSN College of Engineering have higher cutoffs, so it's best to aim for mid-tier colleges if their cutoff trends match

The marks obtained by a candidate must be at a competitive level at IIST-Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology for granting admission. Required marks to take admission to the college keep varying each year considering factors like applicant number, examination level of toughness, and vacant seats available in that academic session. Generally, anything within the top 10,000 rank would be competitive for admission to IIST, but obviously, the competition has somewhat amplified for popular branches like Aerospace Engineering. To up the ante, it is recommended that you score a minimum of 150+ out of 360 on JEE Advanced, for exact

TNEA cutoff varies for PSN College of Engineering and Technology every year due to various grounds such as applicants in number, availability in seats, or the performance of students overall in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2). TNEA cutoff is declared by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education. It is not fixed, it changes every year.
