Candidates need to have their registered email ID and mobile number to retrieve their enrollment ID to reset their password. They must ensure that they have the access to the email ID used during the registration process. 

If you have forgotten your GATE enrollment ID, then you can retrieve it by "Forgot Credentials" option at the GOAPS portal 2026 and follow the instructions. You need to provide your GATE registered email ID  and mobile number to receive your enrollment ID in your email inbox.

Yes, the GATE exam is conducted on different dates and sessions. This year, IIT Guwahati will be conducting the GATE 2026 exam. The GATE exam is conducted over multiple days in two shifts. This year, IIT Guwahati is the organising institute and has scheduled the GATE exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026.
