No. For taking admission in University of Burdwan, you must appear for JEE Mains or WBJEE. Without these exams you can't get admission in B.E. / B.Tech courses.

A rank of over 1 lakh in JEE will depend on the institute's cutoff, for getting admission in B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course at Satya Institute of Technology and Management (SITM), the number of seats, category, and overall competition being the factors to give significance.

Normally, low cutoffs are there for CSE in top institutes, while in private institutes like SITM, the cutoffs for the program would be high especially for the popular branches like CSE. However, if your friend is from any reserved category or has some other preference like home state quota, it could be beneficial.

Yes, you can easily get admission at Ramdeo College with 95.97 percentile in JEE and 110 marks in MHT CET for B.Tech CSE. Your JEE alone score is enough to get admission as the Institute requires score of only one entrance exam for  B.Tech. 97.97 percentile in JEE is quite good score and you have a high chances of getting admission without any problem. The basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech at this Institute is that you should have minimum 50% aggregate in your 12th (PCM) from a recognized board and you need to appear in any one entrance exam JEE Main, MHT CET, RUBEE, or CUET.

JEE prep rank of 2453 for an ST candidate is quite good to get an IIT. Generally to secure admission to newer IITs, candidates typically need to attain a rank higher than 4500 in JEE Advanced. So as you have a good score in your prep exam, you have a good chances of getting an IIT. Although your selection depends on various other factors such as your score in the JEE Advanced exam and your relative ranking within your category.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for VITEEE 2025 even though you passed your Class 12th in 2023. The eligibility criteria for VITEEE typically require candidates to have passed their 12th exam in the previous two academic years (which includes 2023 for you). As long as you meet other basic criteria such as:

  • Having a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology for B.Tech in Bio-engineering) in your Class 12th.
  • You should be born on or after July 1, 2003.

Since you're currently preparing for JEE, you can easily prepare for VITEEE as well because the syllabus for both exams has a lot of overlap, particularly in Physics,

Newer NITs and IIITs: Some newer NITs and IIITs may have higher cutoffs, potentially accommodating candidates with ranks up to 70,000. However, securing a seat in CSE or EE at these institutions with a 72,000 OBC rank is still uncertain.

Private engineering colleges often have more flexible admission criteria. Institutions like Manipal University, VIT University, and LPU may offer CSE and EE programs with a 94 percentile, though it's essential to verify their specific admission requirements.

A 66 percentile may not meet the cutoff for top-tier institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) or National Institutes of Technology (NITs) but achieving a 66 percentile in the JEE Main exam places you in a position to consider several reputable engineering colleges across India. Here are some institutions that accept students within this percentile range:

Vellore Institute of Technology, university in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Lovely Professional University, university in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India.

Amity University has multiple campuses, you can search web for more information.

With a 30685 EWS rank in JEE Mains, you can in all likelihood anticipate to get admission into newer NITs or less famous branches in installed NITs, potentially consisting of NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Manipur, NIT Silchar, NIT Patna, or NIT Delhi for certain non-middle branches depending at the particular software and availability of seats.

No, you can't get a seat in MAKAUT because you failed in physics. You can chek other college's eligibility or try next year with better rank and result.
