Eligibility criteria to pursue CSE

For eligibility for a BTech in CSE, candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam from an accredited board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core courses. A minimum cumulative score of 60% in the aforementioned subjects is also required of candidates.

The cutoff ranks for the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Calcutta for the 2024 WBJEE Round 2 were between 634 and 4348 for the General AI category. The B.Tech in CSE was the most competitive course in this category.

With a 77 percentile in JEE and 77% in your 12th CBSE board exam, admission to the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) programme at SASTRA University may not be easy, but not impossible. The university accepts students based on a combined score of the JEE Main and marks in the 12th grade.

Yes, with an 82 percentile in JEE Main and belonging to the SC category, you can easily get admitted to BTech at JNTU Kakinada. The total tuition fee for the course ranges between INR 30 K to INR 6.4 Lakhs, depending on the specialisation of BTech in which the student is interested. The college offers six specialisations in BTech. Apart from this, the student may also need to pay some additional charges like hostel fee, application fee, admission fee, etc.

With a 72 percentile in JEE B.Arch and 65.50% in Class 12th, you might get into Bharatiya Kala Prasarini Sabha's College of Architecture. Specific eligibility criteria may differ for different institutions, but many architecture colleges consider the score in JEE B.Arch along with Class 12th marks.

Being on rank 2811 of JEE Mains under the PWD category will get you a sure seat in one of the National Institutes of Technology. Cutoffs may vary from NIT to NIT, and branch to branch; however, the cutoff under PWD is generally softer than others. For top NITs, such as NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal, for example, it may become competitive in branches like computer Science or electronics. So, you might get admission in other NITs or in less competitive branches. The best will be to check the cutoff trends for specific NITs and branches.
