The primary resource for admission into the B.Tech programme at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is JEE Advanced results, as it tends to nurture the best students from an academic and technical background. 75% in JEE Mains is nevertheless not enough for directly gaining admission into B.Tech by RGIPT, as JEE Advanced is concerned most of the time. However, seats are likely to be remaining unfilled after the first round of admission, and it again can take such students with good JEE Mains scores.

So, check RGIPT's admission portal to know the detailed cutoffs and other criteria applicable for the academic session cu

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E. / B.Tech courses at Camellia Institute of Technology (CIT) without WBJEE if you have a valid JEE Main score. While WBJEE is the preferred entrance exam for candidates from West Bengal, students from other states can apply using their JEE Main scores. However, you must still meet the eligibility criteria, which include having completed your 12th grade with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and meeting the required percentage. Admission will be based on the merit list formed from your entrance exam score and academic performance.

Yes, you can take the WBJEE if you are in 12th with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The eligibility criteria for agriculture and medical courses differ:
-Agriculture: You can appear for the WBJEE for agricultural engineering and related disciplines as long as you conform to the applicable eligibility requirements, subject combinations (PCB).
-Medical :- Medical courses like MBBS, BDS, or BAMS do not come under WBJEE. These courses generally fall under NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).

Please check the given eligibility requirements of a specific course on the official WBJEE website for further detail.

Different preparation platforms-designed specifically for preparing students for higher school competitive examinations-did present mock tests for JEE Mains in 2024. Some of the best options are:

The official JEE Mains website: The National Testing Agency (NTA) holds such mock tests in their official JEE Mains website-as these are highly based on actual exams-it should ideally serve as a great platform for one's familiarity towards the examination format.

Online Practice Websites:  meet all such criterions needed for taking mock tests for JEE Mains. Some of these include free access to practice questions and mock tests with performa

Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus directly takes admission for B.Tech courses without JEE. The eligibility is based on performance in the Class 12 board exams of a student in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

As far as the eligibility criterion is met by the defined entry criteria, the minimum percentage of the above subjects would generally get you admission.

Though admission this way can be contested, the actual number of available seats varies each time along with pattern change in the admission process based on the concerned course for the academic year.

The college should be contacted for the latest

If you are repeating 12th exam, you should do it for all the subjects to pass 12th again as mentioned in the BITSAT brochure. If you take improvement exams in PCM/PCB only or only in few subject/s, you are not eligible. I passed 12th exam in 2024. Am I eligible to appear for BITSAT-2025?
ou can take BITSAT if you're appearing for your 12th board exam in the current year (2024) or have passed it in 2023. Droppers: If you're a dropper (reappearing for 12th), only your the latest attempt's marks count. This applies if you took all required subjects in that attempt.
