The results of JEE Main are declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and not by colleges like Canara Engineering College. Normally, the results of JEE Main Session 1 are declared in April and Session 2 in May. These results are used by Canara Engineering College for centralized counseling for admission to engineering courses, such as Karnataka CET (KCET) or COMEDK. The exact dates of the result will be checked from the official website of JEE Main or NTA notifications. Counseling dates must be checked for timely application to Canara Engineering College.

For example, in the KCET 2024 (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), the closing ranks were different in the B.Tech course. In some popular courses, such as B.E. in Computer Science, the closing rank was 39,604 during Round 1 but escalated to 42,915 in the final round. Other branches, like Mechanical Engineering, closed with a rank of 117,962 in the final round.
