DSEU Round 1 cutoff 2024 has been released based on JEE Main score across various BTech specialisations in opening and closing ranks. DSEU BTech cutoff 2024 ranged between, 11044 and 23556 for the General AI category candidates, wherein BTech in CSE is the most competitive course. No, getting admission to the BTech programme at IIT Kanpur is impossible without clearing the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced exam.
The admission process for the BTech programme at IIT Kanpur is as follows:
1. Candidates must first qualify for the JEE Main exam.
2. They then need to appear and qualify for the JEE Advanced exam.
3. Admission is then granted through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process based on the JEE Advanced rank.

The cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is 238 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Kanpur - Indian Institute of Technology.
