No, to be admitted to Sambalpur University, you must pass the WBJEE or Jee Mains with a good rank, depending on which stream you are interested in.

Regulations laid by the institution k G Somaiya Institute of engineering and information technology, a student in order to be eligible for taking admission in the institution must qualify and entrance exam which includes GATE or PERA CET for Masters of Technology (M. tech.) degree and its specialisation. That one should secure a significant rank in these exam in order to get admission. Process also includes interview which also includes marks weightage along with these entrance exams for the degree of M.Tech.

Yes, Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology accepts the JEE Main score for admission to the BTech score. The other accepted entrance exam is SRMS EET. The basic eligibility criteria is Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate. At the undergraduate level, college offers this BTech course in various specialisations.
