With a rank of 80000 in VITEEE, it may be challenging to get admission to Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). The competition for admission is high, and the rank is below the typical cutoffs for most courses. However, there are some slim chances of getting admission to specific courses and campuses:

  • Fashion Technology at VIT Chennai: There is a slight possibility of getting admission to the Fashion Technology course at the Chennai campus, but it would likely be in the waitlist.
  • VIT Bhopal: As per previous year's cut-offs, candidates with ranks below 1,00,000 can get admission to VIT Bhopal. You may get courses like CSE, Electrica

As an OBC NCL candidate with a JEE Mains Common Rank List (CRL) rank of 443,370, your chances of getting into prestigious universities to pursue a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) are slim. There are a few institutions, though, where you might still be able to find employment. For students in the OBC NCL category, several state government engineering institutes hold reserved seats. You might look into engineering colleges connected to state institutions, depending on where you live. India is home to a large number of private engineering institutes that take part in the JEE Mains counselling process. There might be place

Your JEE Mains percentile of 94.5 indicates that you outperformed roughly 94.5% of the applicants who took the test. The engineering field you are interested in, your category (general, OBC, SC, ST, etc.), and your state quota (if applicable) will all affect your chances of being admitted to different colleges. These broad observations are based on cutoffs from prior years. You stand a good chance of being admitted into some of the lower-ranking NITs with a 94.5 percentile, particularly in less-popular branches. Look for slightly lower ranked NITs or other branches, as popular branches like Computer Science and Electronics & Communicat

The requirements for admission may change from year to year depending on variables including the volume of applications and the cutoff ranks. As per my most recent update, your VITEEE rank in relation to other applicants determines your eligibility for VIT's Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program. Even though a rank of 8500 is typically challenging, the precise cutoffs won't be known until the admissions process for that year is over. For the most precise and current information on the CSE cutoff ranks at VIT for the year 2024, it's best to check the school's official website or get in touch with the admissions office.
