WBJEE is held as a one-day examination. The authorities conduct WBJEE annually to select candidates for BTech admissions into the participating institutes. The entrance examination is held once in a year and the candidates will not be given a second chance in the same year. If the candidates are not able to apply for WBJEE or have not secured the required scores, then they can apply for the entrance examination next year. The authorities will not accept any requests for change of WBJEE exam dates. 

WBJEE merit list will not be released online. The authorities will prepare the merit list of WBJEE on the basis of the candidate's obtained scores in the entrance examination. WBJEE merit list is prepared to be used for the counselling and admission process. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be allotted ranks and will be selected for the WBJEE counselling. It is to be noted that the merit list will different as per the course and category selected by the candidates.

No, The authorities will release the WBJEE result online. No other mode will be used to release the WBJEE result/rank card. Candidates will be required to log in online using their application number and date of birth to access the result or rank card of WBJEE 2025. Since the rank card will be required during the WBJEE counselling process, the candidates are advised to keep it safe until the end of the admissions. A print out of the rank card has to be taken as soon as it is released online.

WBJEE 2025 result link is now available at wbjeeb.nic.in. The candidates will not be able to access their scores through any offline mode i.e., through post, email or physically. To access the WBJEE result, the candidates will have to visit the official website, click on the result link and log in using their application number and date of birth. No. The authorities will not provide any waiting area at the WBJEE centre for the parents or friends that accompany the candidates during the examination. The guardians are advised to drop off the candidates at the centre and to come back after the examination concludes. This will avoid overcrowding at the centre. However, they can stay outside the examination centre during the examination. The guardians are requested to not overcrowd the centre and to maintain order and safety.
