No, the candidates will not be allowed to carry a water bottle or eatables inside the WBJEE exam centre. Except the WBJEE admit card and identity proof, the authorites will not allow any other items inside the exam centre. Any other items will be confiscated by the authorities. Any other necessary items such as water and more will be provided by the authorities. No electronic items will be allowed inside the centre.

The authorities will release the details regarding the allotted exam centre through the WBJEE admit card. Once the admit card is downloaded, the address and other important information about the allotted WBJEE exam centre will be available on the admit card. The address present in the exam centre has to be checked carefully since the candidates will have to be present on time on the examination date. Candidates are advised to visit the venue a day before the examination to know the directions and area.

In case candidates do not have anyone to accompany them to WBJEE exam centre, they can request WBJEE exam centre authorities to deposit personal belongings for test duration. In case you lose any belongings, authorities will not take any responsibility. Therefore, candidates are advised not to bring any expensive item to examination centre. In case candidates have any expensive items, they are advised to leave it with their parents/guardians.

Candidates will be able to select their choice of WBJEE exam centres online while filling out the application form. During the form filling process, the candidates will have to select and submit three preferred WBJEE exam zones. The selection of the zones have to be done in the order of preference. The authorities will allot WBJEE exam centres as per the candidate's preference and the corresponding availability. In case the candidate's first preference is not available, then the second choice will be considered.

The official JEE Main 2023 question paper PDF with solution is available in this Shiksha page. Candidates can download the question paper to practice for the exam. Also available on this page are JEE Main previous year question papers from 2022 to 2014 along with answer key and solutions PDF. JEE Main question paper is a great source to understand the difficulty level of the exam and Chapterwise weightage of the syllabus. Candidates preparing for the upcoming JEE Mains 2024 exam must download and solve previous year papers of JEE Main.

No, the authorities have not yet announced the WBJEE 2026 exam centres. The list of centres where the examination will be held  will be released online at wbjeeb.nic.in. The authorities are expected to conduct WBJEE 2026 in 49 zones (47 in West Bengal, 1 in Assam and Tripura each). In the previous year, WBJEE was conducted in 328 exam centres. Allotment of exam centres will be done based on the candidate's preferences submitted in the WBJEE application form.

No,  JEE Main 2024 dates for admission to PUCHD and other JEE accepting colleges are not out yet. It is expected that JEE Main 2024 notification will be released in the first week of December. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions in January and April. The exact date of the exam for both sessions will be announced in the notification. Candidates can check here JEE Main 2024 dates and the schedule of all events of the examination including application form, correction, admit card, exam, answer key, and result here

No. The authorities do not allow calculators inside the WBJEE exam centre. As per the WBJEE exam guidelines, any type of electronic device will be strictly prohibited at the examination centre. Candidates are advised to be careful since they will be disqualified if they are caught with any prohibited item. No eatables and drinks will be allowed inside the examination centre. Before reporting at the examination centre, the candidates are advised to check the official examination guidelines.

Yes, NTA provides different JEE Mains question paper in each shift every day. The question paper of each shift is different from the previous shift/day. However, on any given day and shift, all students appearing in the JEE Mains across the centres receives the same question paper but their order of questions is different so that no two students receive the same set of question paper. This is done to avoid any chance of cheating in the exam.

It is advised that students should solve at least previous 10 year question papers of JEE Main. However, the exam pattern as well as difficulty level of JEE Mains has underwent a lot of changes during the last 10 years but still solving previous year JEE Main question papers from last 10 years will definitely help in scoring the good marks in the exam. As new type of questions (Questions with Numerical Value Answer) were intrduced recently, students are advised to practice solving these type of questions to help solve it during the actual exam.
