According to official authorities will consist of four sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Paper. There are four sections in the Andhra Pradesh ECET paper- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering paper. While the questions from Mathematics (50 questions), Physics (25 questions) and Chemistry (25 questions) will be common for all branches, the Engineering paper (25 questions) will be different for each course.

The Andhra Pradesh ECET exam pattern specifies the exam duration. Students have to attempt 200 questions in 3 hours. There is no specific time for every section.
