No, you can not get a direct admission in the college. You have to give JEE Mains examination for the B.Tech degree. The highest rank to get entry in the college is around 85 thousands and the stream is ECE Vlsi. For CSE you have to get around 60k rank. As the college is growing at a pace the cut offs may vary.

Yes, you can get placed after clearing all the subjects and getting your graduation done with 7 CGPA even if you have a year back in your B.Tech 3rd year. However, it will be a bit more challenging than if you had not taken a year back.
Here are some things you can do to increase your chances of getting placed:
- Start preparing for placements early. This will give you enough time to brush up on your skills and knowledge.
- Network with people in the industry. This will help you to get your foot in the door and learn about different opportunities.

The college life is good and the college has regular extra curricular activies. Most of the festivals are celebrated. Moreover we have different clubs like literature club, coding club, sports club etc. There are sports events too. Last time to get out of hostel is 7:30pm. There are a lot of cafes near the college and are great places to hang out.

You may get some random private colleges that you prefer but you cannot go to the top universities since you have 90,000th rank KCET. Try to search for some good colleges in Karnataka so that you can get a seat in that college. My suggestions are BMS College Of Engineering, R V College Of Engineering, JAIN University and so on.

There is a scarcity of good PGs near the Institute. But the Institute provides Hostel accommodation to all it's students. The girls and boys hostel are separate. In boys hostel we have 3 people in a room. The hostel is very hygienic and is cleaned in a routined manner. We have attached washrooms with hostels. There are total six boys hostel named HB-1 to HB-6. The mess food is also very good as the mess community is handled by students themselves.

Preparatory SC rank 1220 is a relatively good rank, and it increases your chances of getting admission to an IIT through the preparatory course. However, the availability of seats and the final admissions process can vary each year. It is recommended to check the official websites of the IITs and their previous year's cutoff ranks to get a better understanding of your chances for admission.
