Check below the steps on how to fill choices in TNEA 2026 counselling: Add/Remove Choices: Candidates have to choose carefully their preferences for getting a seat in a branch in an institution. Based on the availability of seats, rank, and community, candidates will be allotted. Candidates must prepare a list of choices in the order of preference to enter the choices in the order preference correctly and quickly. Choice Entry and Locking of Choices will be available for 3 days, 3rd day until 5.00 pm. All the above processes can be completed from anywhere, from your home if you have a facility or you can avail of the facility of TFC. C

In TNEA 2024, after normalising marks scored by candidates (across all boards), the final merit list followed by the TNEA rank list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the relevant subjects, namely, Maths Physics and Chemistry which is reduced to 200 Maths 100, Physics 50 and Chemistry 50). After the normalisation of marks in the relevant subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by different Boards, the qualified students shall be merged into a common merit list. Click on the Login button.
Enter the username/password that you provided during registration.
Press the Login button.
After successful login, candidates have to find the "Open Provisional Allotment" button, now click on that.
The allotment gets generated. Usually, it takes a few seconds to a minute, once it's ready there will be a "Download Now" link, click that to download the allotment.

A candidate who is satisfied with the seat allotted can download the provisional allotment order and can report to the college on the specified date for admission. The candidate will lose his/her allotted seat if failed to report to the college. Such not-reported candidates cannot participate in any subsequent rounds.
