CISA stands for Certified Information Systems Auditor and it's a globally recognised certification for professionals who audit, control, monitor, and assess an organisation's information technology and business systems. The criteria required to do CISA include passing the CISA exam, adhering to the ISACA Code of Professional Ethics, agreeing to comply with the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Policy, and submitting evidence of a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information systems auditing, control or security (certain substitutions and waivers may be obtained).
