VIT conducts its own entrance examination called VITEEE for admission to its B.Tech programs. It is mandatory for candidates to appear for VITEEE to be considered for admission into the B.Tech programme at VIT. However, it is possible to get admission into VIT without appearing for VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) through the following channels:
Direct Admission: VIT offers direct admission to candidates who have a valid GATE score. Such candidates will be exempted from appearing for VITEEE and can apply directly to the M.Tech programme at VIT. Lateral Entry: VIT also offers a lateral entry option for candidates who have completed a Diploma or B.Sc. Degree in Engineering. Such candidates can apply for direct admission to the second year of the B.Tech programme at VIT. Management Quota: VIT reserves a certain percentage of seats for admission under the Management Quota. Candidates can apply for admission under this quota by contacting the VIT administration directly. PLEASE note that the availability of seats under each of these channels may vary each year, and admission is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria and meeting the required standards.
