SRM never disclose the cut off marks or rank for all the branches and campuses. They used to fill their seats according to vacancies so I guess you need to get within 7000 or less to get CS or its specialization in main campus in Category A and this depends upon the difficulty of paper and competition in the market. You can surely get any branch in any camp in Category B at the expense of a little higher tuition fees. Cutoff are not officially declared by the institute. CSE in kattankulathur means high cutoff because maximum aspirants will aim for CSE in Kattankulathur. hope you understand.

There is no such criteria (minimum JEE marks) for admission in to SASTRA university. SASTRA university has a separate procedure through stream 1 and stream 2 .
Stream 1
70 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 1 based on 12 th percentage ( 75 percent after normalisation ) + JEE mains score ( 25 percent )
For example
12 th percentage - 88 (CBSE) and JEE mains score is 80 .
Normalised percentage of board would be as follows
88 * 100/98.6 = 89.25
(Assuming percentage of topper is 98.6 )
Now 89.25 * 0.75 + 80 * 0.25 =86.94
This is your final score . AIR (SASTRA) is prepared based on this final score . There is a chance AIR up to 4

Spot Counselling at YMCA their is different process than Haryana State Counselling. For this you have to fill the separate online or offline form for university counselling. On the day of counselling you have to physically present at YMCA and they will call students according to their rank and they will keep updated all the students seats available after particular slot on White boards and electronic Boards also for transparency. There is more chance of getting seat at this counselling.

Cutoff basically depends on the number of persons appearing for a given exam and the number of students who have filled the corresponding institute or college form. More is the number of students who have filled the admission form the cut off will definitely increase. But if the number of students filling the form is less than the cutoff will decline .
So it all depends on the number of students filing the form. Cutoff vary from year to year and at some times you may see that it may go higher while at some times it may decline and lower rank may take admission in the college.
So basically predicting the cutoff before it comes is difficul
