Depends on your requirements for study and placement. Some colleges are good for placement and some are good for studies. And also there are some colleges which have great academic records and great placements.

Hello Kannan P, very good query. As the name suggests lapsed seats just ge lapsed. These are not carried forward to next year. The college in any year can have intake limited to authorised by AICTE. If lapsed seats are added in next year, it may exceed authorised seats. Besides if seats have lapsed in current year, chances are that next year too these are likely to lapse. Best wishes to you.

The GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Scholarship for Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) and M.Tech. (Master of Technology) is provided by the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development) and other government agencies. The basic requirement for the fellowship is to qualify for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE Exam. Any student who qualifies for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) exam after the date of admission shall not be eligible for a grant of scholarship, for whatever reason that may be. I hope this will help you.
