BCA would be a suitable degree compared to B.Sc. In Computer Science, although one can pursue MBA after doing both. The major difference here is that BCA is a professional course, hence there are more career opportunities after pursuing BCA as compared to B.Sc.

Only IISER Bhopal offers BS courses in engineering and economic sciences, which is equivalent to B.Tech. After BS, you can also continue MS here by spending one additional year. But there are no B.Arch courses in any IISER.

Based on previous years (2020) allotment of seats, on such rank you can get seat in CMR Institute of Technology because in 2020, the closing rank for OC-Boys was around 86,000.
Though if you belong to reserved category, you may have chances, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs vary every year based on multiple factors such as seat intake, difficulty level of the paper, number of candidates appearing for the examination etc.

You can fill up counselling form online and wait to get a seat. With your rank you can also try for RV, PSET, BMSCE college of engineering.

It is not the only determining factor and a person with high CGPA has better chances of getting into in good colleges or company is not very true and is situation specific, I would elaborate this with some examples. As far as placements are concerned you need to score above a particular range (ex. 8 CPI and above for some companies) to appear for the process. As far as getting in a college for higher studies is concerned, it all depends on university and your overall profile. The 2020 closing rank for B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at VIT Bhimavaram is 7248.
The cut off for 2022 is not out yet.
