Formerly it was affiliated with AKTU but now it conducts its own entrance examination.
The current cut-off for BTech Computer Science for different categories are as follows:
General : CRL 23959 (after internal sliding)
General : CRL 23923 ( before internal sliding)
OBC : CRL 27408 (before internal sliding)
OBC : CRL 31429 ( after internal sliding)
SC : CRL 130071 (before internal sliding)
SC : CRL 130890 ( after internal sliding)
ST : CRL 221814 (after internal sliding)

Cutoff rank of CSE for other category boys is 3097, for other category girls 4076 and this is without EWS. SVU is an amazing university. One need to get a rank below 10000 in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for a seat in SVU.
