More than 2030 CSE/IT Engineering students were recruited by IT behemoths like Microsoft, IBM, SAP Labs, and Hewlett Packard during visits to CU. Microsoft, the largest IT company in the world, has chosen students majoring in computer Science and IT engineering over the past three years in a row. The number of picks has climbed by three times and reached 15. The top three IT companies in India are Wipro (394), Capgemini (217), and Mindtree (101), while the global IT behemoth IBM also made a record-breaking 196 engineering student choices, the most of any campus in North India. During campus placements for the 20212022 academic year, a number of well-known companies recruited engineering students from Chandigarh University, including Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Hewlett Packard, SAP Labs, Samsung, L&T, Arcesium, Wipro, and Flipkart. Over 240 multinational businesses participated in the campus placements, which resulted in a record number of 3750 engineering students being chosen.
