"Successfully submitted" in the GATE application status dashboard means that you have completed all the steps in the GATE 2026 registration process, including the payment. It also indicates that your application form has been received by the official authorities. However, it does not mean that your form is approved by the officials. It is still "under the scrutiny process."

Candidates are advised to visit the GOAPS portal regularly to check the updates on the GATE GOAPS portal once the form is activated. 

The GATE 2026 application status facility will be made available at the time of GATE application form process. Candidates can check their application status at the GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. 

The GATE application form 2026 is expected to release in the first week of August. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be eligible to apply for the exam. The registration link remains active mainly till October.

With a CUET PG score of 52, you have a chance of getting admitted into some central universities for Chemistry courses, though competition may be high. Even if you take CUET, you cannot get into Jamia Millia Islamia's B.Com (Hons) programme without taking its separate university entrance exams. The B.Com (Hons) course admissions are based simply on its own Jamia Entrance Test and not CUET. Furthermore you must take the exam and register for it to be eligible for admission into the program.

General Studies in the CUET exams cover current affairs, Indian history, geography, polity, economy, general science, reasoning, and basic knowledge of national and international events. It assesses a student's awareness of social, political, and scientific developments. This is typically asked in domain specific courses or cross disciplinary programmes.
