The TNTET Paper 1 exam is conducted to assess the eligibility of candidates who want to become primary teachers (Classes 1 to 5) in Tamil Nadu government schools. That is, Paper 1 is for those candidates who wish to teach primary-level classes (1 to 5).

A TOEFL score of 100+ is considered strong for US universities. Ivy League schools may expect scores between 105 and 110.
