GATE results will be accepted by IIT Bombay for admission to the M.Tech programme. Candidates must secure at least 60% of the total marks (55% of the total marks for SC/ST/PwD category) in any of the following degrees: BE, B.Tech, B.Sc., Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning, M.Sc., MCA, MBBS, M.Pharm, B.Pharma, BDS or a recognised qualification equivalent to BE or B.Tech.

DIT University accepts JEE Main, GATE and UKSEE (for Uttarakhand students) entrance exams for admission to B.Tech. For general category students, the minimum score in JEE Main is around 90%.
