Yes, the entry in most M.Tech programs at the IIT Hyderabad requires a valid score in GATE. But the institute can give exceptions of candidates not selected in GATE but can be eligible based on special categories such as sponsored seats or working professionals in the internal evaluation process.

There are around 440 colleges for Production Engineering in India. Where 110 colleges accept the GATE exam scores for giving admission to the M.Tech Production Engineering course. Since the GATE exam is the top national-level entrance exam for PG courses, there is intense competition for seats at top colleges, and hence you need to work extra hard to get excellent marks and rank to grab a seat for the course.

No, you can't take admission in M.Tech at IIIT Delhi without appearing for the GATE exam. The institute offers this two-year full-time programme at the postgraduate level. Aspirants must meet the basic eligibility of passing graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university in addition to clearing the GATE exam. For seat allotment, candidates have to register for the CCMT counselling.

Yes, a candidate can apply for M.Tech at Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology (IIAEIT) with a valid score in GATE. The institute accepts GATE scores for M.Tech admission. Except GATE, IIAEIT also accepts SPACE PGECET scores or any other relevant exams for PG for engineering. Candidates must submit the marksheets for the same.

The GATE Exam result date for Division of Mechanical Sciences Indian Institute of Science IISc is already released on 19 March, 2025. The scorecards of the GATE results are also released from March 28 2025. Candidates can check their results through the GOPAS portal by login to the website with their credentials like the enrollment or roll number and password to see their results.

MNIT Jaipur GATE cutoff 2025 ranged from 366 to 681 in the first round for the General AI category. Therefore, students who belong to this category need to attain a score between this range. See the table below to know score required for each MTech course specialisation.

For candidates belonging to the General AI quota, the minimum and maximum GATE scores required were 356 and 407 during Round 1 admission to the M.Tech course. Please note that the cutoff score vary for different rounds, courses and categories. For GATE, the higher the cutoff scores, the higher is the competiton and vice versa. NIT Nagaland M.Tech admission in the OBC category requires the student to achieve 450 or higher \during the Round 1 cutoff list.
