A score of 10.33 marks in the GATE EEE exam significantly reduces the chances of obtaining admission to any IIT for any stream branch, as this is far below the usual cut-off marks for even the low-ranked ones; most probably, this score will not secure you any IIT admission.

good luck

The GATE qualifying cutoff varies by institute and category. Factors that affect the cutoff include: The number of available seats, The number of students who take the exam, The average score, The difficulty of the paper, and Previous year trends.

With a GATE score of 601 or higher, you may be able to get admission into top colleges in the OBC category, such as IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, and IIT Delhi

A GATE score of 14.33 is quite low, and it is unlikely to secure admission to top NITs or IITs for M.Tech in CSE. These institutions typically have higher cutoffs, especially for competitive branches like Computer Science Engineering. For IITs, cutoffs can be well above 600-700 marks, while NITs may also have cutoffs ranging from 300-500, depending on the institute and category.

Generally speaking, for a GATE score of 361, the chances for M.Tech in Structural Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur would depend on one's category admission and the cut-off marks for that specific year.

For a general category student the cut-off marks for Structural Engineering generally are quite high and range closer to 401 marks in the successive years. On the other hand, if you are belonging to any of OBC, SC or ST categories, then you may be able to make it, cut-offs are lower for these categories.

Of course, the admission is CCMT counseling based on GATE score, other aspects being availability of seats and competition using that
