GATE score required for IISC-Bangalore is more than 750. For safer side, your score should be 800 above to get good branch.

Elegibility of TUM is not score based its only 90percentile. It means under 20k rank.

GATE exam doesn't matter. All depends on GATE rank and branch. For example, in core branches, rank should be under 500 for ECE rank should be under 200 for PSU.

Both exams are good. But I think you should prefer GATE exam. It is very popular exam. And it will helpful in future also.

If you are dedicated for further studies, then you should improve further and appear again for GATE 2020. Then only you have very good career options. And, if you have good business options then it is also okay.

There is no meaning of marks in GATE. It depends on the rank and also in branch. If you are from MECH, CIVIL or EE, then only you can get your state government college. But, if you are from ECE, then you can apply for new NITS or IIITS.
