M.Tech courses offered by NITs will be open on the basis of the GATE 2019 scores of the candidates. IIT Madras has conducted GATE 2019 on February 2, 3, 9 and 10. The examination was conducted in online mode for all the 24 papers. Along with fulfilling the cutoff criteria, the candidates should also meet the GATE 2019 eligibility criteria. Hope this helps.

JEE Mains is all about practice and concepts. It does not matter how hard your study, it matters how smart you study. If you did not qualify JEE then it does not mean that you cannot qualify GATE. If you study 10 hours daily. GATE's syllabus is huge though you may feel that JEE Mains is much harder than GATE. Be optimistic and prepare yourself thoroughly all the topics and previous year papers. You should study daily, it does not really matter. You are devoting 10 or 7 hours but that time should be the time you should be doing nothing except what you are meant to do. GATE can be qualified very easily if you prepare well. Do not lose ho

Hello Shweta,
You can get a college through this percentile. My advice is:
1. Join to some job and prepare simultaneously for GATE.
2. Take a year drop and prepare for GATE aiming rank less than 100, join IITs for VLSI, you will get minimum package of INR. 12 LPA guaranteed in your core sector.
All the best.

For admission in MBA, you need to appear for CAT. GATE is for M.Tech admission.
If you want to study in top Institutes, you need to have a minimum of 80 percentile in CAT.

To get enrolled into MBA program you need to clear MBA entrance exams like CAT, MAT. GATE exam is required for the M.Tech studies and not for MBA studies. 50 percent is the minimum eligibility in Bachelor’s degree to be eligible for the entrance exam.

Hi Ranjan,
You need to clear GATE exam. As M.Tech could be pursued only when GATE exam is cleared and once you clear that you also become eligible for Ph.D. So you should clear GATE exam.
Good luck
