Yes, you are eligible to appear for GATE 2025 even if you are in the 3rd year of your B.Tech at Vignan University. GATE allows candidates who are in the 3rd or higher year of their undergraduate degree to apply for the exam.

The eligibility criteria for GATE 2025 are as follows:

  1. Currently studying: You must be in the 3rd, 4th, or final year of your B.Tech program.
  2. Completed Degree: If you've already completed your B.Tech, you are also eligible to apply.

You can apply for GATE in your 3rd year and take the exam, as long as you complete your degree before the exam year.

Best of luck with your preparations!

Yes, Kerala University offers M.Tech admissions based on merit. For merit-based admissions, students are required to apply for sponsored seats. Such candidates do not require to take GATE or any other entrance test. They are offered admissions based on marks scored in bachelor's degree, interviews conducted by the DTE, and work experience.
