IIIT Bangalore GATE cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to M.Tech specialisations. The available M.Tech speciallisations were Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff for CSE (MTech) and ECE (MTech) were 591 and 504, respectively. Looking at the cutoff ranks, admission at 400 rank in GATE is possible for both the courses available. However, you should try to get MTech in CSE, as it has the tougher cutoff.

Since the OBC qualifying cutoff is 35, it would be impossible for your gaining an M.Tech seat using GATE scholarship in biotechnology. Nevertheless, without a GATE, you might still get enrolled in a few special institutes and through self-sponsored programs or entrance exams conducted on their behalf. It is probably sensible to search for other paths of becoming admitted or wait till next year to attempt another crack at GATE.

The selection for the SPA Delhi M.Arch course is based on GATE score. Hence, a candidate with an exam score is preferred. However, it is not compulsory. Candidates with CEED scores are also eligible to apply. Admission is only through either of these exams. Additionally, the student shall also meet the eligibility requirements. At the time of admission, students shall have the respective exam scorecard with them.

Yes, candidates can apply for admission to the M.Tech course at Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri without GATE scores. Because the college also accepts the scores of graduation/ previous academic year for admission to M.Tech courses. The eligible candidates can get admission to M.Tech courses based on merit, followed by an interview process. However, candidates who have secured a valid score in GATE are not required to appear for an interview.
