The current placement figures at GIBS Business School are very promising for PGDM/MBA students, with the highest package reaching up to ₹16.15 LPA and the average salary package standing at approximately ₹7.8 LPA. GIBS Business School maintains strong internship opportunities through summer internships, live projects, industry-based research assignments, and entrepreneurship internships offered via the IRE School. Those span domains such as marketing, finance, HR, analytics, operations, and so on, along with companies like Deloitte, EY, HDFC, Amazon, and ICICI. The placement cell fully coordinates the whole internship activity by collaborating with the recruiter to bring relevant roles, getting the students ready through resume building and interviews, shortlisting students as per their skill and interest, scheduling company selection processes,

Hi.

Yes — there are opportunities for students at GIBS Business School (Bangalore) to undertake research projects (or research‑related work) guided by faculty / through institutional support.

GIBS IRE School (Innovation, Research & Entrepreneurship) — GIBS runs a dedicated “IRE School” which includes an Innovation Lab, Research Lab, Entrepreneurship Lab.

Structured “research + innovation + entrepreneurship” programme — For students (especially PGDM, and by extension some BBA batches) there is a programme under IRE where, over three trimesters, they have credits for Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship. Final del

Hi.

According to the official “Courses / BBA” listing for 2026, GIBS lists its BBA seat intake as 150.

Multiple sources (including college‑profile websites) consistently state 150 seats for BBA.

If all seats are filled, roughly 150 new BBA students join GIBS each academic year.

Depending on demand, admissions, and seats allocated, actual admitted numbers may sometimes be slightly more or less (some sources mention up to ~180 in some years), — perhaps due to multiple sections or seat‑category allocations.

The intake refers to the full BBA batch (i.e. across all specializations under BBA at GIBS).

Hi.

Educational Credentials

Many core-faculty members hold advanced degrees — Ph.D., MBA, sometimes along with other postgraduate credentials. For example:

One listed faculty member has Ph.D. + NIT-Agartala background.

Others have MBA or PGDM from reputed institutions/universities.

Some faculty combine multiple academic credentials (e.g. B.Sc + MBA + Ph.D).

• Blend of Academic + Industry/Professional Background

According to GIBS's own disclosures, a significant portion of their teaching staff are “accomplished professionals with practical experience across different industries, ” not just academics.

On average, many f

At GIBS, the PGDM dual specialisations include:

  • Marketing Management

  • Finance Management

  • Human Resource Management (HR)

  • Business Analytics

  • International Business (IB)

  • Operations & Supply Chain Management

  • Digital Marketing

  • Entrepreneurship & Start-up Management

  • AI & Business Analytics (new-age option)

You can mix any two based on your interest — like Marketing + DM, Finance + BA, HR + Ops, Marketing + IB, etc. It really helps us get more opportunities in different fields.

GIBS has actually been recognised a lot for its ROI, placements, and innovative learning style. The best part is that the fees are pretty reasonable compared to other B-schools, but the placements you get are really solid — so the ROI automatically becomes strong.

GIBS is also appreciated for its consistent placement record and the way it prepares students through unique programs like IRE, CPMP, finishing school, TEDx, and so many industry sessions. These innovative methods make learning more practical and modern. Overall, GIBS keeps getting noticed because it focuses on real skills, good exposure, and helping students build strong ca
