Hi Thesni,
Please check the cut off of the exam that has been conducted. Further, if your rank is 154th, your qualification or admission into the university will surely depend if any other candidates who have got the ranks do not take up the seat or are disqualified for some reason mentioned in the rules then you might stand a chance.

Hello,
You must have at least 60%marks, if you are from General or OBC category, and 55%, if belonging to SC, ST and PwD. You should check one of the IIT websites for HSEE notifications.

It is on you, but I think so that first doing Diploma is much better, because all our engineering base become clear about engineering drawing and all other things. So, if you ask me I'll prefer you to go with Diploma side rather than class 11th and class 12th.

HSEE is a test which is one of its kind, which admits students to a five-year integrated masters programme in humanities and social sciences subjects offered by only IIT, Madras. IIT, Kanpur does not provide this course.

Hello,
IIT HSEE needs a proper direction and guidance. A serious commitment and dedicated hard work can ensure success to the exam. Below are the important pointers to keep in mind while preparing for the exam:
A- Understand marking scheme
B- Understand the format and pattern of the exam
C- There are two sections, a- Objective questions which includes Maths, Sociology, Geography, Economics, English, General Awareness, etc. and b- Subjective questions.
D- Proper time management and energy focus for right subjects for the exam.
E- As per the marking scheme there are no negative marks. So you might guess and mark in case you are not sure. But k
